Maple's Babies Are Here!

On Thursday, December 2, 2021, we welcomed 5 Girls and 3 boys into our househole, Maple's first litter is here! Baby Momma did amazing during labor and delivered all 8 puppies in less than 2.5 hours, this was a crazy time for her and I of course but we're so grateful for a safe delivery and a healthy Mom & babies! Our hearts are so full!

Puppies are all healthy and Maple is doing great! Her milk production was off to a slow start but puppies are all gaining weight right on track! We have named this litter after ... THE OFFICE!

We are doing things a little different with this litter, we have been woking closely with an in-home, house-call veterinarian, Dr. Robin Shofner. We've been very pleased with her attentiveness, communication and abundance of breeding knowledge. For aanyone who's local, she comes highly recommended from us and I would be happy to pass along her information to anyone interested. All puppies vaccinations & deworming, vet record-needing check ups will still be done at our reproductive specialist's office, Summerfields Animal Hospital. This is to ensure puupies have an electronic record to be sent to their new homes and a reference vet contact as well.

The photos below show their unique markings, one week weights and each puppies name and collar colors. These babies had their Dew Claws removed on Tuesday at four days old and are getting soooo squirmy ready to meet everyone!
